About Us

Welcome to Trinity Episcopal Preschool in Towson where your child will learn, grow, and thrive! As a ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church, the preschool nurtures each child’s individual gifts from God to develop socially and cognitively at their own natural pace.  Early education at Trinity is full of joy, discovery and exploration. We offer childcare programs for ages two through five focusing on creativity, active learning, collaboration, critical thinking, and cognitive development. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the most active little learners as they discover new ideas and experience their world.

Trinity Episcopal Preschool has a nurturing and seasoned faculty who have re-worked the classroom spaces to provide a fun, safe, and socially-distanced learning experience. Each classroom is equipped with an air purifier and all surfaces are sanitized several times per day.

Our Mission

Trinity Episcopal Preschool – Towson, Maryland strives to create an atmosphere where each child can develop a love of God, a sense of self-worth, and respect for others. As an Episcopal preschool, we draw on the traditions and participate in the worship of the Episcopal Church, while honoring and respecting other religious traditions. Trinity Episcopal Church and Preschool seek to create a strong educational foundation through nurturing each child’s sense of wonder, instilling a love of learning and building a Christ-centered community of educators, parents and children. Our school is open to children from all racial, cultural and religious backgrounds.

Outdoor Living Classroom

Our Outdoor Living Classroom has a range of features to nurture developmentally appropriate skill building and social play while encouraging nature connection. The students also have an Environmental Science class within this area.

The features of this area include a log gathering area for storytelling and games, easels for creative arts, upcycled percussive music walls, a mud kitchen with nearby rain barrel, a construction zone, bird feeding and pollinator areas, climbing logs, a sand area, and raised beds for planting vegetables and herbs to share with the community. Adjacent to the Outdoor Living Classroom is our Meditation Area that is a place for peaceful observation of nature and moments of reflection.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Trinity Episcopal Preschool

We have been working hard to create a safe environment for the children entrusted to our care. We have great things planned for this year! Even with all the protocols and changes, we know this year will be extra special simply because we are back together again!

We have implemented a cohort concept in the schools. We are making sure every class is not in contact or combined at any time throughout the day. Unfortunately, even doing this will not make our classes a “true” cohort. A true cohort at all times remains as one class, with the same teachers, and does not interact with ANYONE else in the building. We have siblings in two classes and a floating long term substitute which will not make it a true cohort. What does that mean for us then when it comes to closing and testing? Basically, depending on the class involved, the number and type of symptoms the person is having, and if a doctor requests a test or not will be factored into the decision. The final decision is made by the Baltimore County Health Department in consultation with MD State Childcare Licensing. To remain in operation as a Childcare Center, we must comply with their decision.

We are following the detailed COVID-19 guidance form the Maryland State Department of Education. These can be downloaded using the link below. It explains the details of our regulations and protocols. Please if after reading this booklet you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to contact the school.
