Extracurriculars At Trinity Episcopal Preschool
Trinity Episcopal Preschool offers four fee-based Enrichment programs: Dance, Soccer, Basketball and Piano. The Specials begin after lunch at 12:30 p.m. Children who are enrolled in our half day program may stay for the special if they have a parent/guardian or babysitter who can stay with them during the special.
Dance is offered once a week through Dynasty Dance, a division of Dynasty Sports. This is a wonderful program which teaches balance, coordination and basic dance skills using a combination of ballet, modern dance and jazz. Families are invited to attend a Dance Recital at the end of the session!
Soccer Shots, a national organization that teaches introductory soccer skills, will work on improving balance, coordination, and agility with the kids. Soccer Shots also uses the sessions to teach children important concepts such as teamwork, sharing, and respect. There are three 8 week sessions offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring and are open to children currently enrolled in the twos, threes & Pre-K (days vary by session).
Basketball is offered through Dynasty Sports and is open to children three and above. The basketball focuses on basic floor work, arm and body position for shooting and good sportsmanship. It is open for ages three and Pre-K.
Small group piano lessons are offered to pre-k children between 12:30-1:30pm throughout the school year. They are taught by Trinity Episcopal Preschool’s music teacher, Ms. Doris. The piano lesson program introduces the children to sight reading notes, hand position and learning an age appropriate piece of music. Parents are invited to attend a piano recital at the end of each session!
